The now abandoned Heilstätten Beelitz were a blooming tuberlulosis clinic built in the late 19th century close to Berlin. Today you can visit the ruins of the stunning complex, imagine how patients desperately hoped for cure, wander through the operating theatres, bathrooms and get lost in creepy old cellars of old surgeries, follow arrows drawn into the dust because you believe it was your friends leaving you a sign because you were wandering off to take pictures of all these menacing gadgets, collapsing rooms and shockingly thick walls until going into a mild panic because you realise that no one would be able to hear your screams…wait..that escalated a bit quickly. But honestly, this amazing place is sorrounded by a very intense atmosphere, into which an imaginative mind can project many things.
